The forehead represents the person's strength of character and also indicates intelligence, creativity and educational attainments. It is also an indication of one's relationship with the parents.
The natural color of the forehead should be various shades of red.
Foreheads that are tinged red to pink and which show a radiant glow suggest positive characteristics, while yellow and sallow looking foreheads suggest some imbalance and are thus negative indicators.
Wrinkles and lines on the forehead indicate experience. Positive and good experiences are indicated when wrinkles are straight and unbroken. Negative indications are when wrinkles look crooked or broken as if the wrinkles were gorged from uncertainty and troubled experiences. Having said this, a clear forehead is to be desired as this is one of the best indicators of a clear mind with a capacity for good judgement.
Forehead should never look dry and sallow. The most auspicious foreheads always look "plumped out".
DIVISIONS OF THE FOREHEAD :
Like the head the forehead can also be divided into three sections horizontally.
The top section joining the hairline is called Heaven. The middle section is called human and the bottom section, immediately above the eyes, is called earth.
1. TOP SECTION - HEAVEN :
This section reveals the qualities a person has inherited from his ancestors and these qualities include intelligence, kindness, generosity and a love of family.
2. MIDDLE SECTION - HUMAN :
This section reveals the qualities that have been inherited from the person's parents and these qualities include common sense, a down to earth approach to life and strong moral values.
3. BOTTOM SECTION - EARTH :
This section reveals the qualities the person has learned from his own experiences and these qualities include a sympathetic, a sensual approach and a strong intuition.
TYPES OF FOREHEADS :
A. STRAIGHT AND FLAT FOREHEAD :
This type of person is analytic, determined, patient and modest. He knows how to solve problems by analyzing and then resolving them.
B. SLOPPED OR CONCAVE FOREHEAD :
This person has a limited number of interests and is a hard worker. The person is reserved with fewer contacts with the outer world. Though not very social, but may do well in his field of interest.
C. PROMINENT, CURVED OR CONVEX FOREHEAD :
This person is independent and innovative. He gets along well with others and often does well in business.
SHAPES OF THE FOREHEAD :
A. BROAD FOREHEAD :
The person with a broad forehead is open minded with a wide range of interests and sills. He keeps interest in all subject and enjoys being in charge always. Thus is found in positions of authority.
B NARROW FOREHEAD :
The person with a narrow forehead has a limited rage of interests. He is also at times impractical. The person has no desire to be a leader and is happy to contribute behind the scene.
C. HIGH FOREHEAD :
This person is intelligent, forward looking, generous and interested in learning. He enjoys observing, thinking and coming up with his own conclusions.
D. LOW FOREHEAD :
This person takes sufficient time to make any decision. He dislikes being hurried. He is patient and persistent also.
MARKING ON THE FOREHEAD :
HORIZONTAL LINES ON THE FOREHEAD :
There are seven horizontal lines found on the forehead. These lines are related to the seven planets. The lines closest to the eyebrows are called the Moon and the other six lines in ascending order are Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.
1. The Saturn Line : This line indicates that the person has a reserved nature and is interested in occult sciences. The person also has a talent for learning foreign languages and has an interest in agriculture and mining.
2. The Jupiter Line : This line indicates tat the person loves gaining knowledge, has an acquisition of wealth, indulges in over eating and has strong religious beliefs.
3. The Mars Line : This line indicates an aggressive nature of the person, who indulges in conflict with others. He has courage and stamina and temper and selfishness.
4. The Sun Line : This line signifies a desire for power and selfishness, a good social status and connectivity with the Government.
5. The Venus Line : This line signifies interest in fine arts, interest in singing and music and love for entertainment and pleasures.
6. The Mercury Line : This line gives talent for business and god communication skills which can be used for writing and sales.
7. The Moon Line : This line gives a good intuition power. The person also has a love for music and poetry and good food and liquids.
At times this moon line is divided into two parts which can be seen on the two eyebrows. The half above the left eye denotes moon and the remaining above the right eye denotes the sun.
When these lines are long unbroken and without any cross lines and black marks they give favorable results. But when broken they create problems.
VERTICAL LINES ON THE FOREHEAD :
1. One Vertical Line :
This makes the person stubborn and rigid. He does not give up easily and achieves success by hard work and persistence.
2. Two Vertical Lines :
Two vertical lines make the person caring, understanding and sympathetic. The person enjoys family and marital life. He does his best to ensure that everyone he cares for is appreciated and treated well.
3. Three or Four Lines
This shows that the person is logical, thoughtful, hard working and persistent. The person prefers to analyze everything minutely. He is loyal and responsible and caring for his family too. The person achieves success in life.
4. More than Four Vertical Lines :
This makes the person restless and aimless in life. The person also indulges in bad habits like liquor or drugs.
5. Angled Vertical Lines :
This person tends to over react in life and loses his temper easily. The person is immature and suffers from stress and disharmony.
